Breathwork Classes
Breathwork is a somatic healing tool. Soma means body.
Within the breathwork practice, we are healing from within while looking at our
whole beings including the emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and energetic body.
Throughout history, cultures throughout the world, practice
different ways of breathwork. Simply, there are many different ways to breathe.
In fact, there are over 200 different techniques of breathwork. Breathwork is
simply REGULATING THE BREATH. It teaches you to manipulate your
breathing rate and depth of breath. The goal achieved in this practice can
provide the same benefits of a meditative practice.
There are many different ways to breathe. I was formally trained with the FLOW
breathwork method. You can breathe to activate the body (I call this energy breathwork)
and you can also help the body rest (I call this grounding breathwork).
What can Breathwork Do For Your Employees?
The practice of controlled breathing has been shown to
reduce stress, increase alertness, and boost the immune system.
People who practice breathwork describe feelings of clarity,
alertness, increased mind-body connection and even emotional purging. For others, breathwork has elevated their moods and activate a greater state of awareness.
